OUR LIFE IN FEW PICS
(Art, Work & Human Commitment)
From the 2000s to mid-2010s we had a company where we designed and created innovative Eco-Friendly Wearable Art / Fashion Accessories using our own Organic Alpaca Fiber as the main material... Back in those days, we were part of the initial movement that made yarn and natural fibers trendy in New York.
A Nutraceutical is a bioactive food component that can cause the prevention or complementary treatment of diseases. FrancisCostavolcano and his wife Pamela (Civil Biochemical Engineer) founded a Nutraceutical company (Costavolcano Labs) in the mid-2010s to help people have a longer and healthier life, especially in Countries where health is not considered a Human Right.
We love helping people, the environment, and animals... Since our beginnings as a family, we have always given master classes and workshops to help single mothers, people with low job qualifications, entrepreneurs, and small businesses in different areas of knowledge, such as developing creative skills for innovation; Brand and product development according to target audiences (clarity, consistency, and constancy). Also, workshops to develop technical skills that improve employability such as construction (basic-medium level); spinning and weaving with natural fibers; How to make furniture (design and construction), among others.
At the same time, we produce almost all our products in an environment-friendly way. All our fashion accessories and art were made with organic fibers and renewable and recyclable materials. All our food supplements were made with organic raw materials in recyclable glass containers.
Since we started our sabbatical years in 2017, we have been collecting and discarding plastic and trash from the beach almost every day.
For years, we have also been working with a nonprofit animal rescue/adoption organization (Micos e Nos), helping them develop their brand (branding graphic design) and promotional elements, as well as their website. We have also laid the foundations for their online work on social networks and volunteered at their events and daily logistics.

Poor women heads of household in South America are disproportionately at risk of poverty due to a combination of economic, social, and structural factors.
For this reason, Franc created a month-long master class (160 hours) that combined theoretical studies, such as the behavior of materials and their uses or applications according to location and environmental conditions, with real-world, hands-on work. Each class required participants to design and build a small architectural project. He taught these master classes at the University of Aconcagua every winter when he traveled to the Southern Hemisphere (summer) to support the development of people in rural areas. This helped many women develop small businesses as contractors, repairing or renovating small buildings, houses, public spaces, and more.
But above all, it served to strengthen the spirit and self-esteem of many of these women who arrived with very difficult personal histories.
The focus is on teaching creative skills for innovation to small business owners, along with training in the fundamentals of business's ability to operate successfully and remain relevant over the long term.
Master class built in 2 modules, the first to develop personal creative skills, train conscious observation, exercise full attention and communication by exercising from the auditory, the visual and the kinesthetic. The second module is to learn to communicate and present yourself as a company, build the core and concepts of what we do in order to then identify our target audience and present ourselves in the market more effectively, and above all build the foundations for it to be a successful and sustainable enterprise over time.
